Hwy 69

The ice climb, dubbed 'T&A on 69' is located 20 minutes from Sudbury heading south on the hold highway 69 (now Estaire Road) just of the road. From the four corners head south for < 5 minutes until you come to the Estaire Road exit, take it. Drive for about 15 minutes, you'll pass by Mackynen road on the left, the climb is about 1km past this turn off just as the south hwy opens to a passing lane. Park on the shoulder of the hwy and walk across the road.

The climb is literally right off the road, so it's amazingly convenient for acess. Since the new Hwy 69 opened there almost zero traffic either. There were some stories previously of the cops telling people they couldn't climb due to the proximity to the road, but it doens't appear to be a concern now. The cliff is about 25 meters high and in good years offers several almost vertical paths up the ice.
